06:30 AM pick up at 319 No Trang Long, Ward 13, Binh Thanh, Ho Chi Minh City.

Day 1: HO CHI MINH CITY - BU GIA MAP NATIONAL PARK

7:00 AM Depart by seated bus to Bu Gia Map National Park.
11:00 AM Arrive at the Management Station. Visit the Wildlife Rescue Center and enjoy the lively melodies from its animal residents.
12:00 PM Lunch at the park.
1:00 PM Drive 25km by car through the forest to the park’s core zone.
1:30 PM Continue along Provincial Road 741 to Forest Ranger Station No. 2 – the trailhead.
2:00 PM Begin trekking through diverse forest ecosystems. Discover rare plants and learn about traditional medicinal uses.
4:30 PM Rest at To Ong Campsite by Dak Manh Stream. Enjoy stream bathing, fish catching, com lam (bamboo rice), grilled chicken, and more.
6:30 PM Dinner with traditional S’tieng dishes amid the sounds of nature.
8:00 PM Campfire bonding with the group and local guides.
9:30 PM End of the day. Rest overnight.

Day 2: BU GIA MAP NATIONAL PARK - HO CHI MINH CITY

Follow Đak Ka Stream - Visit the living and working quarters of the park rangers

06:30 AM Wake up, freshen up, and enjoy the fresh air amidst the early morning mist.
07:15 AM Have breakfast and coffee by the stream, surrounded by the forested mountains.
08:00 AM Continue the journey along the stream, passing by Dak Ka Ranger Station. Visit the living and working quarters of the park rangers deep in the forest.
11:00 AM Rest for a stream bath and have lunch at a forest shelter.
1:30 PM Continue to Ranger Station No. 2, take a 15-minute rest, and get on a vehicle to return to the park headquarters for freshening up.
3:30 PM Depart by bus back to Ho Chi Minh City, ending the tour. Enjoy dinner in Dong Xoai. Expected arrival time in Ho Chi Minh City is before 22:00.

  • Camping gear: Tent, sleeping bag, pillow, and thermal insulation pad.
  • Professional guides: Experienced in hiking terrains across Vietnam, certified in first aid and rescue.
  • Trekking equipment: Trekking pole, raincoat, flashlight.
  • Local guides: Knowledgeable about the route and terrain, supporting the group throughout the hike.
  • Travel insurance included.
  • Logistics team: Well-organized, ensuring proper meal portions and food hygiene.
  • Entrance fees and overnight stay at the National Park included.

  • CLOTHING: Lightweight, stretchable, breathable, quick-drying
  • BACKPACK: Compact and lightweight, with a support strap.
  • SHOES: Opt for shoes with good grip and deep treads for slip resistance. Choose a size that fits well or is 0.5 size larger.

  • SUN PROTECTION: Sunscreen, hat, sun gloves, mittens
  • PERSONAL ITEMS AND NECESSARY ELECTRONICS
  • MEDICATION: Rehydration tablets, electrolyte supplements, insect repellent
  • SNACKS: Energy bars, chocolate, candy
  • SOCKS: Choose thick socks, bring at least 2 - 3 pairs as a backup
  • SLIPPERS: For using at the campsite
  • IDENTIFICATION: National ID or passport (required).

  • From April 2024, all participants will receive a CONQUEROR CARD upon completing the trek. Customers registering after Wednesday will not receive the Conqueror Card.
  • This is a border area. According to national park regulations, FOREIGN TRAVELERS are required to submit their registration at least 20 days in advance. An additional fee of 750,000 VND per person applies for permit processing. An extra charge of 300,000 VND per person will be added if the guest cannot provide a valid temporary residence certificate in Vietnam.
  • FOR FOREIGN TRAVELERS: If an English-speaking tour guide is required, a surcharge of 300,000 VND per person applies. Please register at least 7 days in advance (for weekdays) or 30 days in advance (for holidays and Tet).

What are the health requirements to participate in this route?

For each route with varying difficulty levels, there are specific health requirements. For the Nature Walking level, as long as you don’t have cardiovascular or respiratory issues, you can participate. However, for more challenging levels, you’ll need some basic skills like swimming, cycling, etc., or prior experience in easier or similar routes.

If I only go alone, can I join the Bu Gia Fat tour?

If you go alone, you can still join the tours organized by To Ong Adventure. We always arrange groups of up to 20 members every weekend, so you can connect with new friends and enjoy an exciting journey!

How is the problem of hygiene and washing?

At each camping site, To Ong Adventure always arranges portable restrooms for the group, and after departure, our logistics team will clean up the area. We consistently separate all waste generated during the journey into organic and inorganic categories, with proper disposal measures implemented throughout the trip.
