Day 1: TA NANG - PHAN DUNG

5:00 AM Enjoy breakfast prepared by locals at the edge of the forest.

7:00 AM Review the itinerary, safety rules, and warm up before beginning the journey. Start by traversing ancient pine forests and small streams to reach the stunning grassy hills.
Face challenges at Ngo Hill, Long Mit Hill, and Dau Hill.

11:30 AM Have lunch in the forest.

1:00 PM Conquer the summit of Ta Nang - Phan Dung at 1,100 meters.

4:30 PM Arrive at the campsite, start the fire, and prepare for a cozy BBQ evening.

10:00 PM Rest and get ready for the journey the next day.

Day 2: PHAN DUNG - HO CHI MINH CITY

Highlights::
Watch the sunrise from the mountain summit - Traverse through bamboo and reed grass forests, and Lagerstroemia trees - Experience "Grab" in the forest.

5:30 AM Watch the sunrise from the summit, enjoy a cup of hot coffee, and have breakfast.

7:00 AM Review the itinerary for Day 2 and prepare your belongings for descending the mountain.
Travel through Soldier Hill to reach the unique Dry Dipterocarp Forest (rừng Khop), an ecosystem found only in a few locations worldwide.

12:00 PM Have lunch and rest by a fresh stream.
Cross bamboo forests, reed grass, and Lagerstroemia trees while enjoying the scent of wild orchids.

2:30 PM Exit the forest using a "forest Grab" vehicle and rest, freshen up at a local’s home.

4:30 PM Head to a local restaurant.

6:30 PM Depart for Ho Chi Minh City, with an estimated arrival time of 11:30 PM the same day.

In case of any changes regarding the estimated arrival time in Ho Chi Minh City, To Ong will notify you three days before departure.

  • Drinking water: 1.5L of bottled water provided at the start (refills available throughout the journey).
  • Trekking gear: Trekking pole, raincoat, flashlight.
  • Professional guides experienced in various hiking terrains across Vietnam, certified in first aid and rescue.
  • Travel insurance included.
  • Local guide knowledgeable about the route and terrain, supporting the group throughout the hike.
  • “Forest Grab” motorbike transfer at the end of Day 2 (2 guests per bike).

  • From April 2024, all participants will receive a CONQUEROR CARD upon completing the trek. Customers registering after Wednesday will not receive the Conqueror Card.

For the Ta Nang - Phan Dung trek, each To Ong Adventure group consists of 20 members with a 1:4 support ratio. This means that for every 20 participants, there will be at least 5 support staff from To Ong Adventure.

Can I join the Ta Nang - Phan Dung trekking tour if I am traveling alone?

Yes! Even if you are traveling alone, you can still join To Ong Adventure's trekking routes. We organize group tours with a maximum of 20 members every weekend, allowing you to connect with new friends and enjoy an exciting journey together.

What are the health requirements to join the Ta Nang - Phan Dung trekking tour?

Each trekking route has different difficulty levels and specific health requirements.

For the Mountain Hiking level, participants must not have any cardiovascular or respiratory issues to ensure safety during the trek.

For more challenging levels, additional skills such as swimming, cycling, or prior experience on easier trekking routes may be required to complete the journey successfully.

What are the restroom and hygiene facilities like during the trek?

At each camping site, To Ong Adventure arranges temporary restroom facilities for the group. Our logistics team ensures that the area is properly cleaned after departure. Additionally, we follow responsible waste management practices by separating organic and inorganic waste throughout the journey.
